Finding the right therapist for you is an important step.
We strive to make that process easier by offering a free 15 minute consultation call to briefly discuss your needs!
This might also be your first time inquiring about therapy services. In order to make this process as simplified as possible, we have created suggested ways to prepare for your first consultation below!
HOW TO PREPARE
We can start by getting to know you. We recommend developing a short summary of what brings you to begin/continue your therapy journey.
Prepare any questions you may have such as: “what are you rates for services?, can you tell me a bit about your experience?, what types of techniques do you use in session with clients?”
Have an idea of your availability to assist with scheduling an intake and any follow-up sessions.
If working with your insurance company for reimbursement, we recommend contacting them prior to scheduling a call to determine:
If your health insurance includes mental health benefits & tele-health benefits.
If your plan has a deductible, how much is it and have you have met it yet this year?
What is your out-of-network coinsurance for outpatient mental health? (Outpatient means treatment outside a hospital.)
If your plan has a limit of how many sessions per calendar year you can have. If so, what is the limit?
If you need written approval from an in-network provider to see someone out-of-network.
How to submit claims for reimbursement. (Claims are forms that are sent to your insurance company to receive reimbursement for sessions you paid for out of pocket.)
