Blending Holistic Therapy with Evidence-Based Modalities for Healing and Self-Discovery
At Mindfully Me Mental Health Counseling, we integrate a holistic approach with evidence-based therapeutic techniques to guide you toward deeper healing and self-awareness.
Our approach is grounded in person-centered therapy and somatic experiencing techniques, which prioritizes your unique experience both in your mind and body. We create a safe, non-judgmental, empathetic environment where you can explore your authentic self, learn about the power of mind-body connection, and navigate sessions at your own pace. Using psychodynamic therapy, we explore the link between your past experiences and current emotions to reveal insights that drive meaningful change. Additionally, we incorporate cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) to collaboratively address unhelpful thought patterns and behaviors, providing you with practical tools for everyday challenges.
Together, we embark on a holistic journey that nurtures your mind, body, and spirit, fostering profound personal growth and a renewed sense of well-being.
Meet the Team:
Danielle Foox, LMHC, LPC
Hi there! My name is Danielle (she/her/hers), and I’m so proud of you for taking this moment to focus on yourself and your well-being. As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), I specialize in helping individuals overcome challenges related to anxiety, low self-esteem, relationship issues, and life transitions.
My goal is to provide a safe, supportive environment where you feel heard and understood. Together, we’ll explore the challenges you’re facing and create actionable steps to improve your mental, physical, and emotional well-being.
Here’s a little more about my journey…
I used to be the overachiever, the negative thinker, and the perfectionist. I lived with constant anxiety and was often told to "just calm down." I remember thinking, “It’s not that easy! Or maybe it is, and there’s just something wrong with me that I can’t.” Hearing advice like that only made me feel more isolated.
This frustration is what sparked my passion for becoming a counselor. Through my own therapy, I invested time in learning about the mind-body connection and gaining awareness of how my past influenced my present patterns. It was in those moments that I discovered it’s possible to cope with anxiety and let go of the pressure to always be perfect.
Now, I’m committed to helping others do the same. If any part of my story resonates with you, know that I see and hear you Let’s talk about it and take that first step together toward healing.
Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of working with a diverse population, including adults, children, young adolescents, members of the LGBTQ+ and TGNC communities, as well as families and couples. My approach combines holistic and person-centered methods, helping you connect with both your mind and body. You’ll have the freedom to shape the structure of our sessions in a way that feels comfortable for you.
I also integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Psychodynamic Therapy to provide deeper insights into the connection between your thoughts and behaviors and how your past experiences may influence present-day patterns. My goal is to offer a warm, trusting space where you can explore your challenges, identify your strengths, and gain a better understanding of yourself.
